Your guesses will highlight defenses in one of three colours, indicating how close you are:

• Green (Exact Match): The mystery Pokémon takes the exact same multiplier from this type.
• Orange (Partial Match): The mystery Pokémon is also weak or resistant to this type, but takes a different multiplier. (Note: Immunities and resistances trigger partial matches for each other)
• Grey (No Match): The mystery Pokémon doesn't share this defensive trait at all.

You will also reveal generation and evolution stage information:

• Green highlight means an exact match.
• Incorrect generation guesses will display arrows indicating if the mystery Pokémon's generation is higher or lower.

This automatically tracks your confirmed exact matches:

• Colour Coding: Confirmed multipliers are coloured for quick scanning: Green (Super Effective), Red (Not Very Effective), and Black (Immune).
• Orange glow: A hidden '?' box with an orange glowing border is reminding you you've found a partial match for that type but haven't discovered the exact multiplier yet.
• Gen & Stage: The table will also save the generation and evolution stage if you discover it.

• Modern Data: All Pokémon use their most recent typings and evolution stages. This includes when filtering to old generations on Endless Mode.
• Type-Changing Abilities: The game includes abilities that alter type matchups (like Levitate or Flash Fire).
  • If it is a Pokémon's only ability (like Gastly with Levitate), it applies by default.
  • If they have multiple abilities, type-changing abilities are treated as a separate, searchable variant (e.g., "Vulpix (Flash Fire)").
• Generational Forms: Mega Evolutions and Regional Forms belong to the Generation they were introduced in (e.g., Mega Alakazam is Gen 6, Alolan Raichu is Gen 7).
